Subject: 85 Water Sensor
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hi all.

So I posted yesterday about my water sensor not working, and I got a few responses about the contacts being corroded and the like and I went to check it out, and I can't seem to find the sensor at all. My book says that the sensor is on top of the tank but only in the 88 models or later, but the panel on the front of my fridge clearly has a lights for the water and my manual talks about the water sensor. Anybody know what's up? I have an 85 Vanagon GL.

Also - I was wondering how the dual batteries work... I have two batteries installed. Does it run both, or one at a time and I can switch from one to the other if one goes out? I noticed a black switch at the back of the drivers seat - is this a switch to go from one battery to the other?

Thanks.

-eric
