You have four stainless bolts in the side of the tank, ground and three
others which connect to a little black box in the "secret" compartment
forward of the tank, then a (green?) wire which connects to green wire on
LED panel connector.  With LED panel on, ground that green wire at the
connector (won't do any harm) -- the top light should light.  If it does,
your problem is toward the tank.  If it doesn't, the LED panel has a
problem, likely a blown IC (the left-hand one; the right-hand one does the
voltage meter and IIRC the flame detector).  It's an LM324 available from
Radio Shack for about $1.29 so it's not worth much time troubleshooting --
just replace the sucker.  While you're in there you could put in brighter
LEDs, especially the flame detector one.
