That is Wild!! I just went through the same drill (new Agilis 51's) and to light steering , slight wandering at highway speeds. Both the local mechanics I trust are not set up to do alignments, and the best VW mechanic of the two (Rudi Schaffner, Schaffner Motors in Lynnwood, WA) recommended the local VW dealer, Campbell-Nelson, just down the road. Made an appointment, took it in, and was impressed when they immediately checked to see what tires I had on the Westy. They quoted $89.00 for BOTH, front and rear. Called me six hours later, said the Westy was ready. Went to pick it up, they told me in detail what they had found (rear OK, front camber was off) and charged me exactly what they had quoted. BTW, their parts department, even though typical dealer prices, has had IN STOCK several obscure trim I have needed lately. Your milage may vary...
