There's more economic might, despite the current downturn, in the Silicon Valley (hi tech, hi productivity) than Orange County (beaches and boiler rooms); and now that El Toro will never be an Airport, OC can look forward to remaining as it is, while SV surges ahead. Homos are all over West Hollywood, and they probably out number SF. Music has been crushed in both regions. Musicians can no longer count on cheap living in SF and Hollywood clubs have been a wash from the time they went pay-to-play. It gets hot as hell in San Jose, while La Jolla is cloudy-cool in the summer. Once desalination plants take over the issue won't be water, but where do we put all the salt? <BR><BR></P></DIV>
