Subject:      cold start problems\dying

so i have been having this problem, not everyday, but
almost every other day. i start the vehicle, no
problem, it idles for 3-5 or so seconds, then slowly
dies...if i keep it reved for a couple minutes it
seems to fix the problem...van runs just fine other
than this cold start, if i go out and start it right
now it will run fine, but tomorrow....at first i
thought i had water in the tank or bad gas (laugh it
up) but it has been through a few tanks and
trips...any ideas appreciated, thanks
