From Jens Hansen in Germany, maker of kits to fit Porsche (and custom) brakes to VW T3s like ours. Read the PS!

Hi Andrew,

how are you?.

Well, things are busy over here...

Yes, our rear break kit is ready and working perfect. We have made kits for nearly all porsche brakes.

If you want to keep your 16"-wheels, we could make a kit with brembo-rotor with 310mm diameter and 993 turbo calipers and race-brake-pads from ferodo, pagid or performance friction. This setup would be comparable to the 993 turbo brakes and will fit your wheels.

Whole kit (calipers, rotors, adaptors, brakelines, shims, bolts, hydraulik handbrakesystem etc.) will come to EURO 5700,--.

Possible would also be 305mm rotors with 996 calipers and race brake pads. This would also be about the same braking power.

Whole kit will come to EURO 5500,--

"Standard" 993 Turbo Brake kit complete will be EURO 5300,-- "Standard" 996 Brake kit complete will be EURO 5100,--

Alle prices are in EURO (actually i dont know th exchange rate rigth now) plus shipping and handling and plus duty.

By and all the best to NZ

Yours

P.S.: A few weeks ago i saw a crewcab, powerd by and SVX-engine, at the nurburg ring. But the owner made the mistake to keep the stock transmission. On the second turn on the ring, he blew the transmission. The case of the transmission looked like it was exploded.
