Go to your local VW dealer, and order the electric sunroof optional
opening kit---

Better stop at the bank, and take out a loan, prior to even thinking of
doing this change----

Or maybe look for a Doormobile camper roof----

Subject: Can the Sunroof Be Motorized?

The bright sun this past weekend kept whispering to me, "Open the
sunroof, open the sunroof." So, for the first time, I decided to open
it. Little did I understand that opening the sunroof was aerobic
exercise. It took forever!
  Can a motor be installed to open the sunroof with the push of a
button?
