A virus that steals from an outlook address book is about two mouse clicks
and a four line program. M$ put it all out there for us to hack if we
want. Other viruses are more complex, and of course can do more damage,
but it is ridiculously boring and repetitive to see posts about the same
virus, with a new name, hacking its way through people's address books,
week after week, month after month. I would be embarrassed to have my
address book sailing through the internet because I refused to use a
better tool.

Individual users should just ditch outlook (corporate users may not be
able to, of course) and use Eudora, or any one of the other decent readers
out there. There is no excuse for getting nailed by the same virus, over
and over. In fact, with all the reports about them, there is no excuse for
getting it even once.

Keep steering people away from that stuff, it does a lot of good, plus it
allows other ISVs to have products that people can use. Choice is always
good. :-)
