<P>Hey thanks so much for responding. I remember seeing this hex, and now I'm not afraid to open it. I do have the Bentley, and it was silent on this matter as were the archives, save a question from someone else that was never answered, until now. <BR></P></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>>Dude, you are looking for the large hex (16mm I think) headed bolt on side
<DIV></DIV>>of differential. There is no drain, only a pan. You should see 2 pans
<DIV></DIV>>under your drive train: 1 for the transmission and 1 for the differential.
<DIV></DIV>>The trans pan has a dipstick tube out the driver side bottom, the diff pan
<DIV></DIV>>does not. Fill tranny at the dipstick tube, fill diff on side after
<DIV></DIV>>removing large hex bolt. You can fill the diff with hypoid oil until it
<DIV></DIV>>runs out the side. To fill auto trans---when cold to dipstick bottom, drive
<DIV></DIV>>it about 7 miles then check and add to top level. Check again next day
<DIV></DIV>>after 7 mile drive. 7 miles=good warm up period.
<DIV></DIV>>Prolly need to get a repair manual or the Bentley.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Good luck,

<DIV></DIV>> >Bentley, on page 39.50 says to use Hypoid oil SAE 90, Mil-L2105 B for the
<DIV></DIV>>Final drive lubricant and that the capacity is 1.25 liter (1.3 US qt) [were
<DIV></DIV>>talking differential-automatic].

<DIV>But hey stupid me doesn't know were to fill it.... to top off the slow </DIV>>leak I'm having. Before I start turning bolts I don't understand, can
<DIV></DIV>>somebody comment? There is NOTHING in the archives. I searched under Fill
<DIV></DIV>>Differential
