I want to remove my rear heater core for good. I have replaced it twice and it still smells like coolant. I think it is a Piece of &*%$## and never want to see it again. I have a Plat cat heater back there which i can use to warm the rear. For those who have removed it how did you plug up the coolant lines? Is it better to plug each line or to conect them to eachother to complete the flow of coolant? Anyone have any use for a smelly (but not leaking) rear heater core and or the fan? P-mail me if interested. TIA, Andrew Fox 86' Westy w/ Plat cat heater and dual propane tanks |
