I used a guy in the Bay Area once who had one of those. Very cool. Had broken off a couple of exhaust studs in an I-4 head. got the head back, sans studs. No damage to the threads or surrounding area. Then there was the machinist in Placerville who just cut off the studs and drilled & tapped "in the general area". What a hack job...
