Hi Larry, Here's what I do: Open the digest message Copy the part to which you want to reply to the clipboard. Select reply in your mailer (reply to author) Paste the article into the reply at the cursor top of page The cursor should then be at the bottom of the article above the old Digest contents <cntl><shift><end> should highlight the rest of the digest <delete> will delete the highlighted digest section. You now have the article in the reply without the digest contents copy the article title from the article in the reply window to the clipboard Select/highlight the text in the reply subject line just beyond the "RE: " don't copy it. paste article title from the clipboard into into the subject line just beyond the "RE: " Edit your reply to delete unnecessary verbiage, html swill, and other nasties. Add your commentary Spell check Read for silly mistakes Add any cc: destinations. Send it. Like words and bullets, email is hard to recover once sent on its way pensioner |
