The verdicts and awards are determined by the Jury, not the law. You see, a citizen sits on a jury, and awards moronic amounts of money because a lot of them are morons and they hope that one day, they will get to do something stupid, and have a stupid jury award them a lot of money.

Its called the American Dream. Cash for being stupid. Its what they all live for, that one big break so they can get rich. Its really a shame that we have come to this, but that is where we are as a nation, and as a society. It shows in our overall style of life.

Thank goodness for Vanagon owners who would never do such a stupid thing and try to make money off it. <g>
