All this talk about engine temperatures and fan speeds, esp. on later Vanagons. I have a '90 with A/C. I have never heard the lowest speed. I have jumpered the lead to the thermoswitch and get the middle and high speeds. I have replaced the big green ceramic resistor. When I turn on the A/C I hear the mid-speed cycling with the compressor as it should, and sometimes the hi-speed kicks in. Is there any way to test for the low speed? Jerry
