The Red-Star is the last of the last of the last of the T3s - a lot of people think the 2500 'Last Limited Edition's were the last of the European T3s, but that is incorrect - this particular one was made in 04/93! It has the deluxe interior with the fold down rear seat, pop up table, two fixed rear facing seats, driver seats with arm rests, AC, PS, Power Windows, Alloy Wheels, Central Locking... a very very nice T3! There are several T3 'stars' - Blue-Star from around 1987, White-Star from around 1990 (the interior in my Syncro 16), Red-Star (93) for the van and the Tri-Star for the trucks.

David, I looked on your site and saw that you had a picture of a Vanagon in Europe that you called "Red Star". Is that a name the owner gave or is it a name like Tristar. In the picture I see there is a logo where the Tristar logo generally is. It is different than Tristar but I can't make it out. Any details?
