I just had my local Amazon Hose Supply (www.amazonhose.com) make up all new A/C hoses for my van, it cost less than $200.00 for all of them. Find out the connector size and type you need and the diameter and length of the hoses and they should be able to do them in a day for a 1/4th of what VW will charge you.

Good luck,

My 86 Vanagon camper doesn't have power steering and I'd like to add it. I can get everything I need used except the feed and return lines. (They tend to break as you try to remove them.) The dealer whats almost $1000.00 for the lines. Anybody know of an alternative? Maybe have a hydrolic line shop make them up? Steve
