Subject: CONTINUING TRAILING ARM SAGA...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

What a trip ! I tried everything to get the outside bolts, on the trailing arms out! I jiggled, wriggled, shook it, hammered it, heated it, bathed it continuously with penetrating oil. I battered it with my ratchet air wrench. I turned it, until the rubber bushings turned inside the arm. I even made a press using a very large C-clamp with a larger socket over the head. Left that on overnight, to no avail... Broke the first C-clamp! (it was cast) Finally, out came the saws-all !!! Look out ! The pecker met its match! Now, I`m short the two bolts needed to get the thing back together. The inside bolts came out, no problem. Is there anyone, here on the list, with easy access to the bottom of their parts bus, that could send me the two trailing arm bolts? The insiders come out the easiest. Be happy to pay, of course. Even better, if you are in the SLC, to Ogden area of UT. I could stop by... Please let me know p-mail. Thanks, John C... SLC, UT 85 Westaru...
