the vw engineers did not figure it out themselves so they made up some weird
gibberish, slapped it on the dash controls and hoped no one would ask about
it......just another the mystery of the vanagon on my never ending quest to
figure these things out...
current project:  now i'm mapping the syncro DNA gene code and it's a DOOSEY!
