Now that I have a thousand kilometers on my 2.0L I4 conversion I want to compare notes to what other owners are getting.

VEHICLE: Syncro Pop-Top Westfalia van with White-Star interior. 205R16 tires and 4.86:1 final drive.

ENGINE: The engine is a 2.0L "3A" Audi block with a 1.8L 33/40mm valve Digifant II head from a Golf with the stock Digifant II injection system set to 6BTDC and an 87C thermostat. Exhaust is an Audi Fox manifold and a simple muffler with O2 sensor but no catalytic converter.

DRIVING: Mix of rolling hills highway at 100km/h and town driving with more go than stop traffic.

The average of the last two fill ups is 11.7L per 100km which in my mind is pretty good. My Syncro DoKa with 6.5R16 tires and CIS injection does about 13L/100km which is about the same as what my 2.3L Audi 5000 quattro gives me. These figures are corrected for the inaccuracy of the odometer with a GPS.

I am wondering if this is the same as what other people are getting with their conversions?
