My (IBM Stinkpad) laptop has 1024x768 display, using the Rage Mobility M1 chip -- if you uncheck the "hide modes that this monitor can't display" on the Display Properties >> Settings >> Advanced >> Monitor it lets you set the display resolution up to 1600x1200 and scrolls the LCD window around on that. Dunno if yours works that way, but worth a try. The price is certainly right! david
