Way easier but still a PITA. Gota remove that pan which is attached to the exhaust flange studs. Ha ! Good Luck ! I remove the OEM sender, install a short pipe and T fitting that will accept the OEM sender and the new sender. The pan will touch the senders so you should bend the pan so it will not touch.
