Hi Folks,
I own a 1986 wolf Westy (no appliances), that has a second (aux) battery under the drivers side seat. When I looked closely at the relay (1 inch square silver box), I saw there are 5 "male" prongs. 4 parameter and one center. The 4 parameter all have wires attached: 1. blue wire 2. red/white wire 3. red/black wire 4. red wire The center pole dies not have a wire attached to it. However, there is a red wire, with a white plastic connector, loose right next to it. I'd love to know, if that red wire should be connected to the center pole, and what it controls or affects. Coincidently, my 12v aux outlet below the passenger side seat does not work, and I wondered if this wire could be for it. I don't own a Bentley manual, and thought I would ask if anyone knows that the center pole on the relay is for, and if I should try hooking up the lose red wire or not. It certainly looks like it it fits, and is perhaps supposed too too. Any ideas? Thanks, dave :) 1986 Westy 102k |
