Brett, the adjustment is made via the addition/subtraction of shims in the water pump pulley itself (it comes apart). Kind of like the old Beetle belt adjustment system. Deflection, when thumb pressed against belt, should be 5-10mm (from manual) The bolts that hold the two halves of the water pump pulley together should be tightened to 14 ft lb. Alistair
