FWIW, there are rearview mirrors available with compass and outside temp. displays built-in: http://www.donnelly.com/shopdonnelly/comptempmirror.asp A bit pricey; these are the mirrors fitted to Mercedes ML SUVs. I don't know if they come with an outside temp. sensor, or whether that's extra (it's about $20 for a sensor from a MBZ dealer). What's left of the rear view mirror has been relocated to the garbage, I destroyed it removing the mounting arm with the ball socket to use to mount the compass. I actually got the compass/thermometer off of ebaY for $26.00 used. They are available new here: http://www.precisionnav.com/compass-products-and-digital-compasses/compa sses.html#compasses Tim -----Original Message----- From: Bob Allen [SMTP:b.t.allen@myactv.net] Sent: Sunday, May 19, 2002 1:29 PM To: Tim Hannink; vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: Rear View Mirror Replacement Hey Tim, Where did you re-locate your rear view mirror to and where did you find that cool comp/therm thingie.
