Hi, I have to blame Wendy and John of Campers on Cape Cod fame for this. A couple of weeks ago she turned me on to this website: www.geocaching.com My family and I have been hooked ever since. What is Geocaching you ask? Its a sort of treasure hunt using a GPS and the internet. You go to the geocaching website and find a cache in your area. A cache can be a small tupperware container with little trinkets and a log book that is hidden somewhere. You get the coordinates of where it is hidden from the website...down load the coordinates to your GPS and then head off to find the cache. Once you find the cache (not as easy as it looks) you take something from the cache, leave something in the cache and make an entry in the log book and then later on the website. If you are looking for something "different" to do on a camping odessey, try this.
