The 027 auction is for a '87 GL Vanagon while the 127 auction is for a
Wolfsburg Vanagon.  The GL (the white van) has a rear seat that turns into a
bed, and the middle bench has foldable back.  The grey van is a Wolfsburg
edition.  This has the rear facing seats, table, rear seat/bed, and
fiberglass bumpers with partial side cladding.  In '88 or 89 they went to
full side cladding, and then in '89 and some 90s they called the vans
Wolfsburg Carats.  In '90-91 they just started calling them Carats (that is
what I have).  I am sure Chris Turner will correct all of my faux pas but
that is a basic summary of the differences between these vans.

Both vans listed below are listed on ebay as 1987 yet
they have different bumpers.   Was 1987 a split year
for the newer bumper?   Also, is there anyway of
knowing when a particuliar van is designed with the
table?   027 appears to have the newer bumper but does
not come with the table while 127 has the table but
the older bumper?????
