My wife was driving the van and was caught in a line wending it's way out of a parking lot. There was some contributing road congestion for some reason.

Anyhoo, some guy tried to cut through an empty parking space, and cut off my wife. "No way" said she as she goosed the throttle to close the gap between her and the car in front. He got so mad that he rammed our Vanagon with the little car he was driving. He then made his escape by heading out the other way, with a huge scape and dent in his hood.

My wife told me about this, and showed me where his car had impacted the van. I looked and looked, but never did find any sign that a collision had occurred.
