Yep---Andew,

There are two different shades of the Titan red---

If you are dealing with any kind of a competent shop--they should have a mixing system to be able to match the color---

If not----you better find someone with a spectrometer, to lay on that paint and come up with a match----

This is the only two selections you have for a good color match---

Hey - sorry for the cross post, but my 1987 Vanagon Syncro GL is @ the shop after a bunch of sandblasting and stuff, and there is a discrepancy as to what he color is!! The Van is Titan Red, I guess, but the VOW dealer has TWO Titan Reds!! Both are VERY close! Is there a standard? The sticker on the underside of the dash w/the paint code is GONE!! Help! I have some bad digital pics if'n you want to reacquaint yourself... Please help answer this question: Was there only one color for Syncro in Titan Red for 1987? What is the code? Kind of urgent as the Van gets the paint tomorrow, and if I don't know, the dude is going to guess!!!!
