Titan red-----Titian red. Notice the difference? Lots of times you hear people talk about Titan red, when what they actually see is Titian red. Titian was an Italian painter, and if you'll look at his paintings (just do a search on Titian) , and you should if you like purdy nekkid ladies, you'll notice a characteristic red in many of them. Try to remember it's colors you're looking for. Anyway, that's where Titian Red comes from. I think they came up with Titan Red later because practically everyone misspelled the other.

By the way, don't mess with John Rodgers right hand rule while driving down the road. Yesterday I was at a stop sign, trying to apply the right hand rule to the CV joint problem, jesticulating with my thumb, index finger, and middle finger, and for some reason, the guy in the car next to me suddenly turned red, jumped out of his car, ran over to mine, pulled me out of the car and beat the crap out of me. I tried to explain, but he wasn't listening. As a parting shot, he tried to do his own version of the right hand rule to me, but he didn't have it quite right. Again, folks, keep your research safely at home.

Friday is good!

Chuck Hill
