Phil,

I agree, 'cept that I have had some Velcro stick longer than others (to substrate, not its mate). I think it was the name brand 3M stuff that lasted the best.

BTW there is a firm in Vancouver that makes stainless steel (it think that's the metal they use) hook and loop fasteners. Saw an item on tv about them, they sell to NASA among others. I wonder how it sounds when you rip it apart?
