I have used the two part epoxi to put velcro all the way around the inside of my poptop. I hang heavy wool curtains up there, and have for about four years. Absolutely no problems with the velcro coming off. I had been a little concerned about putting velcro on over the flocked top, so that is why I used epoxi.
