Chris, et al.,

First off I do not advocate the JAW Quinto-digitalis Discount system. More importantly, the Audi lugbolts DO NOT have the correct seats for Carat and SA alloys. Those alloys have conical seats. Whereas, Audi lugbolts have ballseats. They can be used in an emergency but would likely ruin your pretty alloys. Not to mention the incompatible seating system may cause a wheel to come off.

Think about a scoop of ice cream inside a sugar cone. You may observe that the ice cream does not quite make full contact with the walls of the cone. Only a very small portion of it does. You either have to squash it in there or reshape the cone.

In the case of a lugbolts and alloy wheels, the lugbolt seats are harder than the alloys. That's like pushing a rock hard scoop of ice-cream in to fragile cone. You'll probably break the sugar cone.

BenT but with wheels on str8
