I don't have the answer to Mike's problem(s) but I do know he has a brand new engine in his Vanagon. I am not sure what he replaced when he replaced the engine but it sounded like he was replacing the fuel lines.

I do have one suggestion that Mike would understand and possibly offer if the show was on the other foot, "don't drive slower than 70"
