Subject: I'm buzzing - Sequel to Wires and otherwise
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Another issue I thought I would mention. When activated, whether the car is running or not, the Hazard/Emergency flasher switch buzzes loudly, glows red, activates the turn signal indicator LED and does NOT flash the lights. If you activate the turn signals, either right or left, while it is freaking out like this the buzzing subsides and that particular sides lights will flash. Additionally, the switch, if not perfectly turned off, will do the same buzzing and glowing red thing. Slap it, massage it, etc. and it will stop. Wires are all intact and there does not seem to be any short external to the switch. My guess would be bad switch? Any thoughts?

I am currently pouring over the Bentley wireing diagrams for some answers to both of these recent posts.

Thanks as always, Derek '84 Wolfsburg w/ Tiico
