Karl,

the overland page states that they use a vertical mounting of the engine (requires raising deck height 5") because "All four kits offered use a dampened, vertical, engine mounting configuration which eliminates the troublesome vibrations and noise associated with horizontally mounted engines in the Vanagon".

What are these mounts? how do they differ from the standard diesel mounts and do they work any better than your posted solution to I4 vibrations (solid mounts at end of tubular carriers)?
