The same thing happened to me and I tightened the bolts thinking it would do the trick but the problem was a leaking clutch master cylinder, it was plain worn-out. I ordered a new one from Van-Again and put it in with no problem thanks to the fine instructions found in the archives. This is an easy do-it yourself job and I encourage you to do it right away. I put it off and the brake fluid ate away at the paint under the carpet and created quite a mess. Good Luck! Loretta 87 Syncro GL 90 GL 82 Westy "project"
