But at 84 hp and 127 lbs/ft torque, why go to all the extra trouble? A 1.9 TDI has much more in both respects. The five is smoother, yes, but heavier too. Now, a 2.5 TDI......that would be worth the time. I have one of those 2.0 TDs I picked up dirt cheap, to build my Quattro TD someday.
