The great Air Cooled Vanagon parts dumping continues.
The several last items that I am liquidating are.
One Air Cooled DK Vanagon transmission, both very good boxes and I've run
in my Westy so I know that is good. Price $300.00 each and I good core
tranny that needs 3/4 Slider or Synchronizers $90.00.
Shipping weight on transmissions 90 pounds each.

One 1980-83 Vanagon Rebuilt Air Cooled CV prefix engine with eight
thousand miles on it. I rebuilt this engine for a friend and he wrecked
his 81 Vanagon.
This is a short block engine with the following:
#1) No heads, but with lifters mated to the cam.
#2) Oil cooler
#3) Oil pump
#4) Oil filter mount
#5) Flywheel shims (no flywheel) hope they are right for your flywheel,
you'll haqve to check.
#6) I just busted the cylinder glaze and installed new rings when I
inspected the rod bearings. Everything OK.
#7) All crank and rod bearings are Standard (block has never been bored
for oversize main bearings.)
#8) One known flaw ...... oversize oil drain plug.
This engine will require break in procedures because of the new rings.
