For me it was from the windows, the window seals were bad on the outside, the channel felt. I replaced those and no more noise for me. If those are fine, then it's gotta be the door seal, replace seal or the door needs to be realigned to seat properly when closed...In my van, I find I get more noise from the wind blowing in from the front, into the vent system, how do you get rid of that...

I'm about to begin a campaign to reduce the noise level in my van. First I want to reduce wind noise, and then will go for sound deadening materials applied where necessary.

I have a lot of wind noise around the upper parts of my doors, as well as around my sliding door on my 88 GL. It sounds as if the seals are not seated in spots against the body frame when shut.

Any suggestions as to how to identify the spots and deal with this?
