For what it's worth, why bother masking it at all?

When I painted my grill, I purposefully chose to paint the emblem.

Now, in my opinion, it now looks "cooler" that way.

Plus, I was out of masking tape at the time.

(1) slim
(2) none
It takes all of 2 minutes to mask it off----why do it the hard way?
It'll take you longer to scuff the grill down prior to painting than to
mask that emblem off-----don't even waste your time---

Folks,
Is there any way to remove the VW emblem from the front grill? I want to
paint the grill and would prefer to remove the emblem rather than mask
it.
