Subject: VW Busses 'n Boats Report
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Howdy folks,

The full moon bus club's 2nd annual VW busses n boats bash was this past weekend. A good time was had by all, in spite of the lousy Ohio weather we've been enduring this spring. I think about 30 +/- busses made it to the event. Many of us rolled in Friday night and set up camp in the cold pouring rain. Our motto was, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Fortunately, John Baker (event coordinater) had a blazing fire going that had been burning since Thursday. The fire couldn't bothered by a little rain. Saturday's group canoeing event was cancelled because the Little Miami River had morphed from a lazy stream into a raging torrent. However, everyone was happy after the full moon bus club's tasty breakfast burritos were served, and at last the sun was shining. Most spent the day relaxing, socializing, etc. Coolest Vanagon hands down belonged to Karl Mullendore (Awesome job on the 1.9 TD conversion, and monster size syncro tires). Hope to see more next year!

Peace, Greg Stelz 86 westy
