<< GM---- Cleaning the blades with alcohol makes good sense---- I don't know about wiping them down with the Armor All--this stuff has silcone in it, and may smear the heck out of the glass--- Have a brand new PPG windsheild--- Got gobs of Rain-X on it, which seems to be my only salvation---- I also have Rain-X additive to the washer solvent----so it helps maintain the Rain-X coating on the glass--- The rotating of the blades seems like a good idea--- The damn wiper blades sure don't seem to last as long as they used to-- Later, Terry>> Terrence, I find that wrapping my whole van in Saran wrap during the winter, spring, summer and fall seasons can prolong the life of my wiper blades. Just make sure you carry a utility knife. Plastic cling wrap can sometimes self-seal. That can be problematic when you need to come out of the van to reseat any edges which become undone.
