Stan,
In Ontario, vehicles older than 20 years do not have to undergo
emissions testing. Mine is a 1980 so I am free from that. I would like
to be environmentally conscious if possible, but if it's making no
difference than forget about it. My concern buying used parts is how
long I can expect them to last. I want to restore my Westy to a good
strong vehicle. If I finish the exhaust, I want it to be finished for a
long time. If I use used parts don't I risk needing to replace them
again in a year?

William........... the cheapest way to go is the S&S Header System and
if
you don't have to deal with Emissions Inspections then this is probably
what you should buy.
As far as ceramic coating, don't waste your money the weakest link is
one
tiny pinhole that rots out.
If you've got to have a Federal System to pass inspections then I can
help with some of the obsolete no longer available parts.
