If you ever plan on having any windshield repairs done then stay away from Rain-X. The guy who was repairing a crack in my windshield last time told me that it can prevent the chemicals they use from bonding correctly. With our rain twice or maybe three times a year, the Rain-X is worn off about the time you need it and the windows streak like crazy when you use the wipers.
