Subject: What is a weekender "update"
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

Thanks for all the responses to my "weekender" question. This one was an 87 with a pop top, with the upper bed., wolfsburg edition. it had a table, and a small 110/12V removeable fridge, original owner with 125k miles., warranty coolant leak fixed under warranty by VW. asking price $5200

it was nice and i would have bought it.. but....

i had called first ( i later found out), left a message, got called back, made an appt to see it. showed up on time, to find it being test driven by someone else who bought it on returning...squeezing me out... pretty frustrating ... kinda rude treatment on the sellers part i thought.. oh well..

looking for the next one in N CA.

wanting a camper version with a 2.1 liter engine and AC.

thanks, Clay
