yes. drop your spare pan, get rid of the spare, and push the bars out of the hinges holding the pan. wait! that'll mean you can't use your pan, right? wrong. have ready nylock nuts, washers, and bolts sized correctly (length and width) to act as hinges in the bars place. you may still not be able to use the pan, depending upon what 15" tire you have. mine bars are sitting on my workbench, out without cutting them. i have the doug fitz-randolph's spare carrier up front... b >I have a 15" spare that is too big for the stock carrier, >partly due to the bars that hold it in place from the top. >Is there any way to remove these without cutting them? > >Thanks, >Chris |
