I got an Audi 3A motor today fro $150- it's a 2.0 Liter, compression's good, no leaks. It's going into the van instead of that (anemic by comparison) JH 1.8 I was planning on using... Pure Vanagon content: At Action Auto Recycling near Denver, CO, there's an 84 van. The body's pretty good, except for the mildly banged-up front end. Engine's there, all glass, all suspension. No sunroof, but it has a 3-seat rear bench in decent shape. Some of the cab trim is gone, as is the instrument cluster. Looks like most or all of the engine electronics are there. Front seats are still there. P-mail with any specific questions about things I may have missed, or just drop by there yourself.... U-pull, and only $2 to get in. |
