Fiberglass is totally repairable--- Not difficult, and if it's really warm out, the repair goes really quick---as the hardener that you mix with the resin sets up fast warmer temps---- Later,

E-mail message Was out waxing the Westy yesterday and had the top up. Noticed that there was a crack on the flat rear part of the luggage rack where it meets the roof. Never noticed it before because it's covered when the top is down. I'm not sure what caused it to crack like this. Could it have been overloaded at some point? Seems like an odd place for it to crack. Anyway, I was wondering if such a crack could be repaired. Gerry Royston '87 Westy |
