Brad, try to get some used springs from a late 84, 85 or 86 passenger model. They will go right in and the improvement in the ride will amaze you. I have done this to several 82 diesels and you will like it. Avoid used Westy springs as they tend to have sagged. If you can, remove your right side front and rear spring to compare to any used ones before you buy them. Use a caliper to measure the wire diameter. Get some at least as thick and 3/8" or more longer. A small increase goes a long way when it comes to springs.

An even better solution is the new springs sold by www.syncro.org.
