A little late replying to the message below, but I didn't see any responses,
so here's what I have:


Bosch number for generic one-wire sensor, without connector (just a crimp
and shrink wrap):

Other numbers found on sensor casing:

I believe it is functionnaly exactly the same as the one with the connector,
but less expensive.

I installed mine last week on my 1.9L, went on a 600km jaunt, no problema!
The van runs a lot more efficiently than with the old sensor or open loop. I
guess I will save the cost of it in the first 1500kms, but I'm too lazy to
do the math.

Does anyone have a part number for the Bosch generic 02 sensor? I can
already see the blank stares at the local FLAPS when I mention the word
"Vanagon." (Quote from kid at stereo store: "Never heard of one of those.")
